What the client needed
The client, located on Roadknight Street in Birregurra, sought a solar energy system that would provide strong power output within a modest rooftop area. They were focused on long-term savings, lower electricity bills, and the option to expand into battery storage in the future. Winki Energy was engaged to design a system that delivered high efficiency, smart monitoring capabilities, and clean aesthetics, while accommodating space limitations.
Our objectives
This project required strategic system planning to ensure maximum solar efficiency in a limited rooftop layout. Winki Energy’s objectives included:
• Selecting high-performing panels suited for limited surface area.
• Ensuring the inverter was battery-ready and reliable.
• Maintaining an attractive, low-profile visual appearance on the home.
The system we designed & installed
To meet the project goals, Winki Energy installed:
• 15 × 440W Trina Solar Vertex S+ panels for high output and minimal degradation.
• 1 × Sungrow SG5.0RS inverter offering high conversion efficiency and compatibility with smart energy platforms and future battery integration.
The system was arranged in a compact configuration, optimised for solar exposure while ensuring visual symmetry and minimal impact on the home’s appearance.
The final outcome
The result was an efficient 6.6kW solar system that performs consistently, cuts power bills, and supports future energy upgrades. The sleek rooftop installation blends into the home, and the client now benefits from real-time smart monitoring and a smaller carbon footprint.
