Winki Energy designed and installed a high performance solar and storage solution for a homeowner on Eton Rd, Torquay. This system was engineered to maximise solar generation while providing reliable energy storage using advanced Sigenergy battery technology. The installation enhances the household’s energy independence and reduces reliance on grid electricity supporting long-term cost savings and sustainability.
What the client needed
The homeowner wanted a solar energy system that could significantly offset their electricity consumption while offering a dependable backup power source. The system we designed & installed
The 13kW system features 31 REC Solar Alpha Pure-R panels, known for their superior efficiency, sleek design and long lifespan. These panels were carefully positioned to capture optimal sunlight throughout the day. The system is paired with a 16kWh Sigenergy battery, providing robust storage capacity that allows the homeowner to store and utilise solar power even after sunset.
This combination ensures consistent, efficient and clean energy generation. The Sigenergy battery’s smart management system seamlessly integrates with the solar array, enabling intelligent power use and automatic backup during outages.
